Harlingen Seaport is a versatile port on the north side of Harlingen.
The port has a strategic location between the major port cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Hamburg. The port has 1500 meters of quay and directly accessible from the North Sea.The average depth is 7.50 meters. Accessible for container feeders of 130 meters long by 700 containers or multipurpose cargo ships up to 8500 tons. For transport by truck Harlingen is located on main four-lane highways that guarantee quick connections to its hinterland and the rest of the Netherlands.
Goal of the HSBA
To improve service to the customers of the Port of Harlingen and promote the interests of its members in all aspects of the port.
